Spectro Scientific, one of the largest worldwide suppliers of oil and fuel analysis instruments to industry and military markets, has launched a website dedicated to its customers and prospects in China, at www.spectroinc.com.cn. "This is more than just a translation of our English site," says Sandra Schiller, Spectro's Director of Marketing. "It shares the English site's content and style; however it has been designed with valuable input from our Sales Manager based in China, Alex Shi and has differences in functionality."
For example, some differences include a comprehensive product selection guide, an expanded download center where users can review brochures, data sheets, white papers, and product specifications. There is also an area for sales representatives to access for sharing marketing materials. Further, Chinese application references have added to each market sector descriptions.
"This is an important tool to support our sales and marketing efforts in China," says Mr. Shi, "It will help increase awareness of the Spectro brand in China and to qualify our expertise in fluid testing instrumentation."
